Rescue Pet: Penny Age: 21 

Status: Owner is arrested for unauthorized pet’s body modifications. Pet under HPPS care as evidence, awaiting process.

In consideration of the pet’s life after service period, the ComPet regulation states very clearly that any body modification to the service pet must be done through proper authorization from the bureau. Despite that, many irresponsible owners keep breaking the law and make unlawful body modifications to their pets. Ranging from a small offense such as piercing, upto something more serious and permanent. 

Poor Penny was an indoor pet for most of her service pet life, and no one knew about the unlawful breast enlargement(she had b-cups) her owner had done on her until a month after the surgery, which was performed in an illegal clinic. A visit to a vet after Penny suffer small fever due to infections reveal her situation. After the vet refusing the bribe money and reporting the owner to the authority, Penny was sent to the local HPPS, where she is to be treated and cared for. There’s also an interest from the bureau to assign her to the new bovine program afterward.

For his violation, Penny’s owner was fined a hefty sum, banned from ever owning a pet again and has to spend 2 months doing community service.
