Rescue Pet: “Maple” Age: 22 

Status: Under HPPS’s care until the end of service. Owner is under 2 months license banned.

An owner that cannot provide his petgirl with care and attention needs to learn their lesson. 

Maple was traveling with her owner a few days ago by train while they stopped at a cafe at an interchange station. The happy pup was tied outside of the shop while her owner went in. Ten minutes later, due to the panic of missing his next ride, he hurried out and run to the train, forgetting the petgirl. 

Maple, being an exceptional and loyal pet, saw her owner ran off and tried to go after him. She untied the messy knot after a few pulls and ran after, but was too late. The train pulled away from the station in front of her and Maple was left wandering the place with her leash in her mouth like a well-trained pup she was.

When HPPS staffs were called by the station’s security to pick her up. They found Maple right back in front of the cafe she was left at with tears in her eyes. The petgirl didn’t know what she did wrong, to be abandoned, again.

Going through her owner’s record, this incident was the 3rd time he forgot his pet while travelling. For his negligence, the bureau of pettification fines and bans his ownership license for 2 months. With Maple’s service period running out in less than 2 months, it means that he will not have her back again.

Luckily, the distressed pup is now in the good hands of the HPPS staffs, who will undoubtedly take good care of her until she is released.
